LG at the IFA 2010 will be announcing a new 3D television called the LEX8. This is LG’s first TV that uses nano-lighting, the LCD screen is coated with a thin layer of pixels that the nano-efficient LED lights similar to other types of televisions.
Another striking feature is that the LED lights verify individually. This is also called the Micro Pixel Control technology. Using this way of dimming, the contrast and the accuracy of the image are improved. To complement the brightness of images in LEX8 TruMotion 400Hz display, from which the 3D image should benefit.
The diameter of this TV catches the eye, the LEX8 has a thickness of only 0.88 cm. LG has a model with anti-reflection, so you can watch as the sun sets on your television set. Like other LG TVs, the LEX8 has NetCast properties onboard and can share media through DLNA.
More details will be announced during the opening of the IFA.
